The game
Human survivors need information, supplies and coordination. The group must decide when to stay together and when to risk splitting up.
The asymmetric design gives the opposing player a different role: interrupt plans, control movement and turn familiar routes into uncertain territory.
Research sites, forest routes and coastline connect scavenging with the objective of restoring communication and reaching rescue.
Limited supplies, movement and changing conditions make preparation matter. The project is developing combat, traversal and match state together.
Identify routes and coordinate with the other survivors.
Scavenge supplies and work toward restoring the radio.
Make the final move to rescue while under pressure.
Explore Hunted, an asymmetric multiplayer survival game in early development for Steam. Discover the island, scavenging, team coordination and rescue-focused game design by Clever Studios.
Hunted is being built around a forested island with coastal routes and a central research area. Terrain and sightlines shape how players move, share information and judge risk. The native island capture shows the actual development environment without using a creature asset as the face of the game.
Survivors pursue a shared escape objective while an opposing role disrupts those plans. The project is developing server-authoritative match state, combat and traversal so that the rules of the encounter can be tested together. Its multiplayer systems and presentation remain in early development.
The current showcase focuses on geography and atmosphere. It is an environment preview, not a complete match or a promise of final visual quality. Vegetation, structures, balance and the final presentation will continue to change as the game develops.
The road to release
We are building Hunted for a future Steam release. The footage reflects a work in progress. Final features, requirements and launch timing will be shared as development advances.
No. The showcase is a native island environment capture. Hunted is still in early development, and full-match presentation will be shared when it is ready.
The current game loop centers on scavenging, repairing communication and coordinating a rescue from the island. Rules and balance are still being developed.
Yes. A Steam release is planned when development is complete. No release date, public store link or final system requirements have been announced here.
